I've visited this Starbucks on a few different occasions at different times of days over the course of the last year, so this is a collective review of those visits: the store is gorgeous and clean. The quality of beverages has always been great and beyond what I expect from a typical store. However, each time I've gone I've gotten a very different customer service experience than expected when going to a typical Starbucks. I had one very outstanding customer experience while the other times have been extremely transactional feeling to me almost feeling somewhat unwelcome when inside the store; almost feeling guilty about ordering. However, I love Starbucks and this is one of my favorite places to visit when in the DC area. Of the customer experience can become more consistent it would score much higher.

It's a Starbucks! Seating is lots of small tables around the very long windows, and a large communal table in the open area. No plush couches or chairs. There's an espresso bar that's pretty hip. Beyond that, it's a Starbucks, you know what to expect!

Nice soft seating and quiet atmosphere. Neighborhood is next to Catholic University and has been transformed with new places to eat.

Nice store, maybe one of the nicest!, but a Starbucks is a Starbucks anyways, and $2.90 water bottles does not help my case. I hope Mr. Schultz does not run for president in 2020.
